Three days after selling out its entire consignment of Galaxy Fold devices in China under five minutes, Samsung once again ran out-of-stock within a few minutes on Monday. The foldable smartphone sold like hot cakes during the 11.11 (Singles’ Day) sales event in China, despite the mammoth ~$2,000 price tag. Samsung did not mention the number of devices that were sold during the second phase. However, the company is replenishing its supply lines fairly quickly, meaning that the Galaxy Fold will be available shortly.

In related news, Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy W20 5G in China on Nov. 19. What was initially rumored to be a new clamshell-designed foldable smartphone, turned out to be nothing but a 5G-enabled variant of the Galaxy Fold with a new processor! The specifications of the smartphone surfaced online through the TENAA listings yesterday.
