The currently available Y-series Vivo phones in China include Vivo Y3, Vivo Y5s and Vivo Y7s. The Chinese manufacturer is expected to soon announce the Vivo Y9s as the next Y-series phone for China. The name of the device has surfaced through its China Telecom listing. The specs of the phone are exact with the Vivo S1 Pro that was recently released in Southeast Asian markets. Hence, it appears that the Vivo Y9s will sell as the rebranded version of the Vivo S1 Pro in China.

Vivo Y9s Release Date and Pricing

The Vivo Y9s that has a model number of Vivo V1945A is listed on China Telecom with a price tag of 2,198 Yuan. The handset may carry a different pricing once it goes official. The listing states that the Vivo Y9s will release in the Chinese market tomorrow (Nov. 24). Glazed Black, Nebula Blue and Magic Clear Sky are the three color editions of the phone.

The Vivo Y9s has a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. It offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display of the phone is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 665 chipset is the driving force of the Vivo Y9s. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is 128 GB. There is a microSD card slot on the device for additional storage. The smartphone boots to Android 9 Pie OS. Like the recent Vivo phones, the Vivo Y9s is expected to come with FunTouch OS 9.2 UI.
