Blackview BV9900 is the latest flagship from the company and it was announced recently, making fans of rugged phones excited about the new device. But an announcement is never enough so Blackview just released a durability test video to demonstrate just how indestructible the phone really is.
As you can see in the video above, the phone survives extreme tests like fire burning, dust jetting, rolled over by a car, drop test, and 19-hour cement burial. In addition to these tests, the Chinese manufacturer has increased the operating temperature of the BV9900 and it now ranges from -30℃ to 55℃. In the video, you can see that you can still make phone calls even though the device remained in the fridge at -30℃ for over 21 hours. Four basic phone functions including Phone, Message, Contacts, and Camera can be used at such a low temperature.
The video proves that when Blackview talks about IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD 810G military standard, they are serious. Of course, the main selling points of the BV9900 do not end with its durability.
