The Realme X50 launched as the first 5G smartphone by Realme. The phone which is powered by the Snapdragon 765G is already on sale in China. Realme fans in India have been asking when the phone will be available in the country and now it has been answered by Realme’s CEO in the latest episode of AskMadhav.

When asked when the Realme X50 will be available in India, Madhav Sheth had replied: “We are bringing something bigger and better for India”. While he did not expressly state that the Realme X50 will not launch in India, it can be inferred from his response. He then adds that we “stay tuned for Realme at MWC”, confirming once again that the brand will be attending the tech show in Barcelona. It has been reported that Realme will launch a flagship phone with a Snapdragon 865 processor on February 24 at MWC Barcelona. Rumors say the device is called the Realme X50 Pro. It is possible this is the device that will launch in India in place of the Realme X50. However, this will be more expensive but of course better than the X50.

According to a leaker, the Realme flagship phone will have a punch hole at the top left corner for a single camera. We also know the phone has model number RMX2071 thanks to an AnTuTu benchmark result. The rest of the specs are unknown but more details should surface as the launch draws closer.
