At the launch of the Realme 5i, Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme teased the company’s first fitness tracker. There have been rumors flying around about the design and features of the watch, sadly, most have been false. Today, we now have official info about when the device will launch.

In the latest episode of AskMadhav (episode 14), the CEO was asked when the Realme fitness tracker will be launched. The top executive revealed that the fitness tracker will be unveiled next month, unsurprisingly, he didn’t disclose the exact date.

Realme Fitness Band

The Realme fitness band should be an affordable fitness tracker that will take on Xiaomi’s Mi Band series as well as Honor and Huawei’s own fitness trackers too.

Other information revealed in the video include the arrival of Android 10 for the Realme 5i in May 2020; no bokeh mode video for Realme 3 Pro due to lack of hardware and software features; and an OTA update to fix the background noise issue affecting the Realme Buds Air. However, the update will not roll out until March. He also revealed that the yellow and black color variants of the TWS earbuds will be available next month. he also added that all realme phones launched this year will receive security updates for two years.
