Huawei is announcing price cuts for its 2019 flagship phones seeing as the P40 series is expected to launch soon. A few days ago, it cut the price of the P30 Pro. Today, it has cut the price of the Mate 30 Pro.
The Chinese giant has reduced the price of the 8GB + 128GB version of the Mate 30 Pro on its official store listed on Dangdang, a Chinese e-commerce platform. The phone which sold for ¥5799 (~$836) when it launched in late September is now available for ¥5399 (~$778) on the platform. Surprisingly, the price is unchanged on Vmall.com.
The Mate 30 Pro has a 6.53-inch 2400 x 1176 display with a wide notch at the top. It has a Kirin 990 processor under the hood. There is also an 8GB + 256GB version along with the 8GB RAM + 128GB version above.
There are four cameras on the back of the phone – a 40MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera, a 40MP ultrawide camera, and a 3D ToF camera, It also has two cameras in front; one is a 32MP sensor and the other is a 3D ToF camera which is no surprise since the phone has support for Face ID. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
There is a 4500mAh battery inside the Mate 30 Pro and it supports 40W wired charging, 27W wireless charging, and reverse wireless and wired charging. Other features include NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.1, and support for storage expansion via a nano memory slot.
