In this event, the latest flagship from the company, dubbed iQOO 3, will be unveiled but prior to this, details regarding the smartphone rear cameras have already been revealed. The information arrives after a post was shared on the company’s official Weibo account, a Chinese microblogging website.

iQOO has recently released a poster that carried information regarding the upcoming handset’s internal specifications. On the rear, iQOO 3 features a quad camera setup with its primary lens being a 48 megapixel sensor. The device also features a 50mm professional portrait lens and one of its unique features is the support for an AI eye tracking technology.

In other words, the AI human eye tracker can take images with the focus being on the eyes of the person in front of the lens. This allows for better clarity on the subject and supplements the auto focusing ability of a smartphone’s camera. Unfortunately, finer details and exact specifications regarding the smartphone are currently unknown. So we will have to wait and see what iQOO has in store for us.

For those unaware, the iQOO 3 from the company is confirmed to be equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship processor, the Snapdragon 865 SoC. It is a 5G chipset, thanks to the X55 modem, and is also capable of dual module 5G networking capabilities. Similar to other flagship smartphone that are being released in this time period, the iQOO 3 also features LPDDR5 flash memory and UFS 3.1 storage. This allows for both faster read and write speeds while also offering faster data transfer as well.
