Huawei has just announced a new consumer grade electronic product which will take on Apple in another category in the global market. The newly unveiled speakers are dubbed the Sound X and will rival Apple’s HomePods.

Sound X

Huawei co-engineered the Sound X speakers with a French audio firm named Devialet. The latter is well known for its innovative and high end speaker systems. Thus, the Sound X arrives with a few of the features and technology behind Devialet’s other products. The Huawei Sound X has been designed with a 60W dual woofer system, which utilizes Devialet’s signature “Push-Push” technology that is capable of canceling out vibrations, while still offering powerful bass when music is being played.

It features a colorful LED display at the top and has a black circular/ovoid body with that is covered by the wraparound speaker grille. Furthermore, one can connect to the speaker with NFC OneHop audio sharing, which allows for pairing with a smartphone in just a single touch.
