HMD Global seems to be gearing up to launch a few new devices in the market pretty soon. The company’s three upcoming Nokia smartphones have been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website.

The smartphones that have passed through the certification process carry model number TA-1223, TA-1227, and TA-1229. The listing reveals that all three smartphones are running the latest Android 10 operating system.

Further, it has also been revealed that the listed devices come with support for dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. Apart from this, nothing much is known about the upcoming smartphones, nor their names.

As the model numbers TA-1223, TA-1227 and TA-1229 have not appeared before, we don’t know what to expect from these phones. It is also not clear if the devices are a part of the company’s premium lineup or they are mid-range offerings.

HMD Global was expected to launch new smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2020 in Barcelona, Spain. However, with MWC 2020 getting cancelled, the company is likely to hold a standalone event for launching the devices.

There’s a possibility that the device now spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance website are the ones that were planned to get launched at MWC 2020. The company was rumored to launch Nokia 8.2 5G, Nokia 5.2, Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 400 feature phone at Mobile World Congress.
