The Oppo Find X2 launch event is almost upon us. Tomorrow, the popular flagship series will finally be officially unveiled to the world. The device is highly anticipated but just prior to its launch, live images of the device have been leaked alongside pricing details regarding the Find X2 Lamborghini special edition.

As seen in the images, the Oppo Find X2 resembles a lot of the images and renders that have been rumored for the last couple of weeks. It has a high screen to body ratio with negligible bezels, notch and chin on the front. The 3D curved display can also be observed, which is expected to be a 6.7 inch panel with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR10 support. It has also been reported that it will support 240Hz sampling and offer a maximum brightness of 1200 nits with a 100% DCI-P3

The Oppo Find X2 unit seen in the images reveals a black color model a triple camera solution on the rear. Similarly, another leak surfaced on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging website, detailed the pricing details of the Find X2’s Lamborghini special edition. Notably, the original Find X had also launched a special variant from the popular car brand but the main aspect of the leak is definitely the pricing.

While the original Find X Lamborghini Edition was priced at 9,999 Yuan (roughly 1442 USD), the Oppo Find X2 Lamborghini Edition is claimed to be priced at 19,999 Yuan (roughly 2,884 USD). This marks a massive jump in pricing, doubling over the previous iteration. It also makes the smartphone the most expensive smartphone from Oppo, even more expensive than Huawei’s Mate Xs. The leak also revealed certain specs of the pricy model, with the Find X2 special edition featuring 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Unfortunately, either leaks have not been confirmed officially so concrete statements cannot be provided. Although the ludicrous pricing of the Lamborghini edition is more surprising than the live images. The special edition arriving with certain rare metals and expensive materials like Gold is the only plausible explanation for the pricing. But we will have to wait for the official launch event tomorrow to know more. So stay tuned.
