Xiaomi has commenced the OTA push of Android 10-based MIUI 11 Global stable updates for the flagship Mi Mix 3. The Mi Mix 3 is the current flagship model for the Mix series and was launched last year running Android 9 with the MIUI 10 overlay. The series started receiving Android 10 updates in China around December last year but users outside China had to wait until now for the update.Mi Mix 3 android 10

The Android 10 update arrives with the version number MIUI 11.0.3.0 QEEMIXM and has a size of 2GB. Apart from the major changes and features that Android 10 offers, the update also ushers in the February 2020 security patch and a couple of bug fixes.

Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 is a big update that changes up a lot of things for the popular Android skin. Starting with the visual aspects, you get slightly softer icons, a system-wide dark mode, new Mi Lan Pro system font and improved always-on display functionality. There are also new animations, themes, wallpapers and improved notification system.

MIUI 11 also delivers an enhanced audio experience with all-new dynamic natural sound effects and alarms. Xiaomi also announced the new Mi Go Travel suite which will help you with booking tickets for a broad range of transport ranging from aeroplane to rail and bus. The update also brings an improved currency converter and an extreme power-saving mode.
