OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 8 series this year. A report tipped the device to go official in April. As the month of March rolls by, details of the OnePlus 8 continue to appear. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have now been certified by the Chinese telecoms regulatory agency (TENAA).

Both devices are listed with the model number OnePlus IN2010 for the OnePus 8 and OnePlus IN2020 for the 8 Pro with both models expected to feature 5G compatibility. Recall that the OnePlus 8 had earlier this year appeared on GeekBench database with a similar codename GALILEI IN2023.

The present TENAA listing doesn’t reveal details of the device but is an indication that the flagship series will be launched soon. We expect a more elaborate listing as well as the images of the OnePlus 8 series to be listed soon. However, the OnePlus 8 series is expected to feature a Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset with up to 12GB RAM. There will likely be other RAM options.

In other aspects, the OnePlus 8 is said to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display which will likely have support for 120Hz refresh rate. The device will equally pack a 4,500mAh battery with up to 55W fast charging. We expect more details of the flagship models to emerge as we draw closer to the expected launch period.
