POCO X2 will be available in open sale for the first time since the launch back in February. The handset will be available to purchase in all storage configurations and color options from 19th March till 22nd March on Flipkart, the brand’s exclusive online store. This special open sale of the device running for four long days will be part of Flipkart’s Big Shopping Days sale.
POCO became an independent brand earlier this year with ‘Everything you need and nothing you don’t’ philosophy. The brand’s first smartphone as a separate brand from Xiaomi is POCO X2, a rebadged Redmi K30 for international markets. This phone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. The USP of this smartphone is its 6.67-inches IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ration for under ₹20,000 (~$269). Also, it is the only handset to feature 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera in this segment.
Unlike the POCO F1, the POCO X2 is only available on Flipkart and it is currently the highest-rated Android smartphone on this platform with over 25,000 user ratings averaging at 4.6 points. Manmohan Chandolu, the brand’s General Manager said that his team has been humbled by the enthusiasm they have seen from the fans since the X2’s launch in February. Further, he hopes the special four days open sale to receive the same kind of appreciation the device has gotten till now.
The POCO X2 is priced at ₹15,999, ₹16,999, and ₹19,999 for 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage configurations respectively. As far as color options are concerned, the phone comes in Matrix Purple, Atlantis Blue, and Phoenix Red paint jobs. The open sale will commence from 12 AM on 19th March and buyers can avail ₹1500 instant discount on SBI credit card and EMI transactions as part of Flipkart Big Shopping Days sale.
