Earlier today (26th March 2020), the specifications and pricing for the latest flagship from Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu were leaked. The Meizu 17 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC and will start from 3,999 Yuan (roughly 564 US Dollars).

According to the fresh leak, the Meizu 17 will sport a 6.5 inch OLED display with a high refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, the device will house Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC alongside LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. Its primary camera is a 64 megapixel sensor alongside a 20 megapixel wide angle and 12 megapixel telephoto lens.

The Meizu 17 is powered by a large 4,500mAh battery which supports 30W fast charging. Reportedly, the Meizu 17 will still be light and thin, with a body of 8mm and a weight of 185 grams, despite having such beefy specs and battery packs. Arriving at the pricing, the Meizu 17 will start from 3,999 Yuan for the 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant.

The 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage configuration will be sold for 4,299 Yuan (roughly 607 US Dollars) while the highest 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant is priced at 4,699 Yuan (roughly 663 US Dollars).
