Earlier this year, during the Consumer Electronics Show 2020 (CES), Samsung unveiled its new premium and gorgeous-looking Chromebook, named Samsung Galaxy Chromebook.

Now, the company has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook will be officially available for purchase in the United States from 6th April. The device is priced at $999 and comes in two color options — Fiesta Red and Mercury Gray.

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook

The Galaxy Chromebook is the first Chromebook coming from Samsung to have the Galaxy name. With an aluminum body design and a 4K UHD AMOLED touchscreen display, this new Chromebook seems to have been made to impress.

Coming to the specifications, it comes with a 13.3-inch 4K AMOLED touchscreen display with 3840 x 2160 pixels screen resolution. It is powered by Intel’s 10th generation Core i5 processor and is packed with up to 16GB of RAM (LPDDR3), and up to 1TB of SSD storage.

There’s a 1-megapixel camera placed above the display for video calling and another 8-megapixel camera placed above the keyboard, allowing you to take photos with it when using in tablet mode.

It also has a stylus that fits in a slot just beside the USB Type-C port on the left, allowing you to write and draw fluidly on the screen. You can also use it to navigate the system. Further, you get Google Assistant, stereo speakers (2W x 2), a fingerprint scanner, and a backlit keyboard. There’s WiFi 6 for superfast connectivity and the Galaxy Chromebook has two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm microphone and audio jack, and a UFS/MicroSD card slot.
