Lenovo has unveiled a new budget-friendly smartphone called the Lenovo A7. The phone is fueled by a Unisoc processor and it features a waterdrop notch screen. The other attractive features of the Lenovo A7 include dual rear cameras and a large-sized battery.

The product page of the Lenovo A7 is yet to appear on its official website. Hence, exact details on its specifications were unavailable at the time of writing this post. The Lenovo A7 entry-level phone promises a tall aspect ratio through its waterdrop notch display. The size of the display 6.09 inches.

The Unisoc (previously known as Spreadtrum) SC9863A powers the Lenovo A7 smartphone. The SoC includes a 1.6GHz octa-core processor and PoweVR IMG8322 graphics. The handset was spotted at Google Play Console at the end of the previous month. It had revealed that the phone runs on Android 9 Pie OS and its processor is coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The listing had also revealed that the phone’s screen supports 720 x 1560 pixels HD+ resolution and a pixel density of 320 ppi.

The 4,000mAh battery of the Lenovo A7 promises a standby time of 416 hours. A good thing about the A7 is that it features a user-removable battery. For shooting selfies, the phone has a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. On its rear is a vertical dual camera setup that includes a primary lens of 13-megapixel and a secondary shooter of 2-megapixel. The camera offers features like LED flash and AI scene recognition. A fingerprint reader is available on the backside of the device.

The Lenovo A7 comes in black and blue color choices. As of this writing, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the Lenovo A7 phone.
