The OnePlus 8 series launched in China today. The Chinese company already announced the phones globally on Tuesday, April 14 before announcing them today in its home country. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a surprise product which we thought will be the OnePlus Z/OnePlus 8 Lite.

The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are different from their foreign variants in terms of software and pricing.

It is known that the Chinese version of OnePlus phones runs HydrogenOS and that remains unchanged on the new variants. One of the new features you get is the OnePlus Car Voice Assistant that allows you to totally control the phone with just your voice, so you can focus on driving and be safe.

There is also no Google One or support for Stadia but OnePlus has partnered with Youku and Tencent for exclusive content that makes use of the 120Hz display.
