Just like other BIP variants, the company is keeping the square-shaped display on this smartwatch which features a 1.28-inch Always-On color display with 176 x 176 pixels screen resolution and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The display is also used to show notifications for calls, messages, emails, weather and other applications. It comes with 10 different sports modes, including outdoor running, indoor running, cycling, walking, yoga, elliptical machine, swimming, and more.

The device comes equipped with a barometer and compass, and has IP68 rating which makes it water and dust resistant. It also has the ability to unlock Xiaomi smartphones, although the wearable is compatible with both Android and iOS phones.

It features Bluetooth 4.2 LE for connectivity and packs optical heart rate sensor as well as Tri-axis Accelerometer + Tri-axis Gyro. It also comes with GPS + GLONASS for route tracking and has NFC for payments.

The Amazfit BIP Lite 1S is water resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM) and is powered by a 200mAh battery which is promised by the company to offer up to 30 days battery life, 80 days in watch-only mode and 22 hours with continuous GPS usage.

Earlier this year, Huami had launched T-Rex rugged smartwatch and Amazfit Bip S at CES 2020 along with Amazfit PowerBuds and ZenBuds true-wireless earphones. Recently, Amazfit X Concept smartwatch finally got listed on Indiegogo for crowdfunding at $149 which was first unveiled in August last year.
