Honor has scheduled ‘Honor Smart Life’ product launch event for May 18, two days ahead of Honor X10 launch event. The company is expected to announce a wide variety of products at this event like laptops, tablets, routers, smart TVs, and more. About a week ahead of it, a Huawei laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 4800H has been tipped on Twitter.

> 16GB DDR4
> 512GB Western Digital PC SN720 NVMe SSD
> no dGPU (so far)— _rogame (@_rogame) May 9, 2020
According to the tipster, this upcoming mysterious Huawei laptop will be powered by AMD Ryzen 7 4800H paired with 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Further, it will include a Western Digital PC SN720 NVMe SSD.
This new laptop will be more than enough for most users except for high-end gamers. Because the leakster found no proof of dedicated GPU. Nevertheless, the integrated Radeon RX Vega GPU is no slow either for low to mid-level editing tasks and gaming.
Anyway, we are not sure under which branding this laptop will be released. There’s no Huawei event as of now and hence there is a high probability of this notebook to release under Honor MagicBook branding on 18th May.
On the other hand, Honor’s president George Zhao also teased new MagicBook model with 10th Gen Intel processors. Maybe, we might see different laptops featuring AMD and Intel chips at the upcoming launch event.
