Xiaomi has once again increased the price of its Redmi 8 series of smartphones in India. The handsets such as Redmi 8A Dual, Redmi 8, and Redmi Note 8 already received a price hike last month due to revised GST. Now, these phones got even costlier than their initial launch price.
Redmi 8A Dual Revised Price India May 2020
The Redmi 8A Dual launched in February 2020 in two configurations – 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32GB for ₹6,499 and ₹6,999 respectively. The price of both the variants was hiked to ₹6,999 and ₹7,999 last month.
The price of the base variant has been again increased by ₹300, which means it costs ₹7,299 now.

Redmi 8 Revised Price India May 2020
The Redmi 8 launched in Inda ahead of Diwali festive season. The base 3GB + 32GB was soon discontinued but the higher 4GB + 64GB continued to retail at ₹7,999.
Its price was later hiked to ₹8,999 last month and now once again its price is bumped by ₹300. The Redmi 8 can be now yours for ₹9,299.

Redmi Note 8 Revised Price India May 2020
The Redmi Note 8 was announced alongside Redmi Note 8 Pro and MIUI 11 in India. It comes in three variants – an offline exclusive 3GB + 32GB and regular 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB versions.
The 4GB + 64GB variant was launched at ₹9,999 but the price was hiked to ₹10,999 last month. Now, its price has been once again incremented by ₹500. That means the Redmi Note 8 base variant will now start from ₹11,499.
The higher storage variant did not receive any price hike this time and hence will continue to sell for ₹13,999. There’s no information available about the 3GB + 32GB version.
