Cubot is set to unveil its new smartphone – Cubot P40 at a launch event on May 18. The Cubot P40 is touted to be a budget king offering a quad-rear camera. A new poster about the device has appeared online confirming it as the most affordable 4+128GB smartphone. The beautiful quad-camera module on the Cubot P40 rear side looks impressive. Moreover, the different color variants of Black, Blue, and Green are visible in the poster.

Apart from the new poster, a few images have also leaked giving us a glimpse of its front and rear look. According to the newly leaked pictures, the Cubot P40 will host a 6.2-inch water drop HD display built on In-cell technology. The display constitutes a screen-to-body ratio of 90.3% combined with HD+ resolution.

On the rear, the smartphone is covered in a plastic shell consisting of a matte finish giving a premium look. The camera module fully embeds inside the back shell, making it comfortable while carry and will reduce the chance of getting scratches. It is fully secured to bring extravagant user experience. Moreover, on the right side of the device, there’s a volume rocker and a power button for easy accessibility.

The Cubot P40 features a 20-megapixel selfie camera and a quad-rear camera module featuring a 12-megapixel Sony AI camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The smartphone houses a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. A 4200 mAh removable battery is present inside the device. It runs on stock Android 10 and supports NFC for wireless payments.

It seems Cubot P40 is much more than just an affordable device. However, we are expecting to see more leaks and appearances before its official launch on May 18.
