With the mandatory lockdown caused by the Coronavirus sees certain relaxations, smartphone vendors are gearing up for the launch of their smartphone offerings in the Indian market. One such popular series that is expected to go on sale is the OnePlus 8 series, with its base variant starting a special sale on Amazon India today (18th May 2020) at 2 pm IST.
For those unaware, the OnePlus 8 is the latest entry from the Chinese company and is its flagship series for 2020. It features top notch specs like a 90Hz Fluid AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 on an FHD+ display. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and features a triple camera setup on the rear. The front also has a punch hole camera at the front for selfies and houses a large 4,300mAh battery.

The OnePlus 8 will be available for purchase in three different RAM and storage configurations. The first is the 6GB+128GB variant which is priced at 41,999 INR (roughly $553), while the 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB versions will go for 444,999 and 49,999 INR respectively (roughly $592 and $658). It will be available in multiple colors as well, including Glacier Green, Interstellar Glow, and Onyx Black.

In terms of special offers, SBI card users can avail a flat discount of 2,000 INR, with the offer also extending to EMI transactions.
