Honor launched the Honor 10X with 5G connectivity in China earlier today for a starting price of 1,899 Yuan ($268). The handset runs Magic UI 3.1, a fork of EMUI 10.1 like other recently launched Honor smartphones. The company is set to deliver its new mobile software to older handsets. Hence, at the event, it also announced the complete list of supported/eligible devices that will be receiving the Magic UI 3.1 update.

Magic UI 3.1 Features

Magic UI 3.1 is similar to EMUI 10.1 in all means possible. There’s no major difference between them except for few tweaks here and there. Honor has been seeding out beta builds for eligible devices for over a month now.

Last week, the brand even rolled out the first Magic UI 3.1 Public Beta (Open Beta) build for its phones like Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20, and Honor Magic 2. However,  the Honor 9X series received EMUI 10.1 just like during Closed Beta releases.

But now, the company has confirmed that even Honor 9X and 9X Pro will be receiving Magic UI 3.1. We think the system will be updated in the next  Open Beta build followed by a stable release for the public.

That being said, here’s the final list of Honor devices that are confirmed to receive the Magic UI 3.1 update in China.
