Xiaomi Smart Home Appliances today announced that it will launch three refrigerators on May 25 (next Monday) in the “Quality Appliance New Season”. The models include the Mijia air-cooled two-door refrigerator with a 170L capacity and a smaller 160L model. Also launching is the 450L-capacity Mijia Smart off-door refrigerator.

At present, Xiaomi has a total of four different refrigerator models and they cut across the four most common types of household refrigerators from two doors, three doors, double doors, and four cross doors, with prices ranging from 899 yuan to 2949 yuan. These three new models that would be unveiled next week will bring the total to seven models.

The company is yet to announce the specifications and prices of the three new models but from the teaser posters released, the models are not different in design just the size of the compartment.

Xiaomi had launched the existing four models in October 2019 and they include the Mijia two-door refrigerator 160L, the Mijia air-cooled three-door refrigerator 210L, Mijia air-cooled door refrigerator 483L and Mijia air-cooled cross-door refrigerator 486L.

All four refrigerators from Xiaomi Mijia have tempered glass shelves and LED lights for illuminating the storage area when the door is in the open position. Besides, they are capable of working under a varied range of power which will safeguard their crucial components in the event of voltage fluctuation.

The two high-end models also have a display panel mounted on the door front which can be used to monitor the temperature of different sections or regulate settings. Moreover, these variants also support Xiao AI voice-guided commands.
