In the tweet from the senior executive of the known display analysis agency, a list was shared of all smartphones that will feature a 120Hz panel in 2020. Looking at the list, it included smartphones from notable brands like Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy S20, Apple iPhone 12 Pro, OnePlus 8 Pro, and more. The Huawei Mate 40 was also seen within this list, and considering that some of these devices have already launched with this feature, it is likely that the Chinese OEM will also step up in this regard.

The Mate 40 series is the Huawei flagship that will launch in the second half of this year and feature top notch specs. Earlier reports had hinted at a 5nm SoC with Cortex A77 or A78 CPU architecture with Mali G77/G78 GPU. Furthermore, a few recent news also mentioned the handset featuring 9P lens FreeForm lens technology and more. Unfortunately, we have no means of confirming these reports at the moment and will have to wait for the official Huawei announcement. So stay tuned, as we will be providing more updates.
