Redmi will be announcing the Redmi 9 phone in China tomorrow. In global markets, the Redmi 9 comes in 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage versions and three colors. Recent reports have revealed that China will be receiving the Redmi 9 in new configurations and four color options. Today, the Chinese manufacturer took to Weibo to share a poster that confirms the four color variants of the smartphone for China.
The Redmi 9 will be available in colors such as Lotus Pink, Dark Green, Carbon Black and Neon Blue in China. As leaked information revealed, it will come in choices such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage editions in the home market.
Redmi 9 specifications
The Redmi 9 is fitted with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with waterdrop notch. It offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 3 layer.
The Helio G80 SoC is the power behind the Redmi 9 phone. It has a large-sized battery of 5,020mAh that can be charged to the brim swiftly using an 18W charger.
The Redmi 9 has a front camera of 8-megapixel. The quad-camera system on its back comprises of a 13-megapixel primary camera, an ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel, a macro lens of 5-megapixel and a depth assist lens of 2-megapixel. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
