OnePlus has been reportedly working on a new budget smartphone from months which is finally expected to debut next month in India. The phone is one of the most anticipated devices of the year as it will mark the re-entry of OnePlus in the budget segment after the OnePlus X smartphone that was launched in 2015.

Although the company has confirmed that the new OnePlus series of smartphones is launching, the brand has not yet revealed the name or the launch date. But if the reports are to be believed, then the OnePlus Nord could get launched on 10th July.

Now, Amazon India has created a landing page on its platform, confirming the arrival of this budget smartphone. This also confirms that the phone will be available for purchase in India through Amazon, possibly with OnePlus’ official online store.

The upcoming budget smartphone from the company was first leaked as OnePlus 8 Lite, as a part of the newly introduced OnePlus 8 series. Later, it was reported that the device has been rebranded to OnePlus Z. Now, reports hint at the phone getting launched as the OnePlus Nord. But to know for sure, we’ll have to wait for a couple of weeks.

Rumors indicate that the device will come with a 6.4-inch OLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Running on Android 10, the device is said to be powered by a 4,000mAh battery with the company’s own Warp Charge technology.

In the camera department, it is expected to have a quad-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The fourth camera sensor could be a depth sensor or a color filter.

Along with the OnePlus Nord or whatever the company ends up calling this new budget smartphone, OnePlus Pods, the Chinese company’s first truly wireless earbuds are also expected to get launched.

Meanwhile, the company is hosting a launch event on 2nd July where it will introduce the new affordable OnePlus TV series in the Indian market. The pricing for the upcoming TV series has been confirmed to start under ₹20,000 (~$264).
