Lava Z61 Pro launches in India as the brand’s latest entry-level budget smartphone. Priced at ₹5,774, it will retail in the region lesser than the standard Z6 (₹7,000). It will be available to purchase on online retailers like Flipkart and Amazon, in addition to offline channels.

The newly unveiled Lava Z61 Pro is powered by an unknown 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. If needed, the storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The handset sports a 5.45-inch HD+ LCD panel with 18:9 aspect ratio and comparatively more bezels than products from Chinese brands like Xiaomi and Realme. In the optics departments, it features a single 8MP primary camera accompanied by an LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera at the front.

Talking about connectivity, the phone supports dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB OTG via MicroUSB port. Since there’s no mention of Android version, it should either run Android Pie or maybe even Android Oreo.

As for biometrics, the handset does not have a fingerprint sensor and hence, it comes with face unlock method. Lastly, the phone gets its juice from a 3,100 mAh battery.
