About a week ago it was reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will not be launching on August 5 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. A few days afterward, Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants tweeted that his sources informed him the Fold 2 will still launch on August 5 though it won’t ship until October. Samsung has now released a new teaser for its August 5 Galaxy Unpacked event that teases the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

The twelve-second video is similar to that of the original teaser that was announced earlier this month. However, the bronze-colored droplet transforms into a butterfly-like object. If you remember correctly, the wallpaper for the Galaxy Fold is a butterfly thus confirming this is a teaser for its successor.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will pack a 7.59-inch foldable internal AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2213 x 1689 resolution. The outer display is a 6.23-inch screen. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus and it has been reported to have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is also said to have a 64MP triple camera setup and a 4365mAh battery.

Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Samsung will also announce the Galaxy Note20 series, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and the bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live.
