Huawei had announced its Enjoy Tablet in November 2018 and now the company is hearing up to launch its successor in its home market China, which is likely to be called Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2.

Ahead of its official announcement, the upcoming tablet’s key specifications have leaked online. The leak reveals that the device will come with a 10.1-inch LCD display, offering 1920 x 1200 pixels screen resolution.

The display size is the same as the previous-generation model but there’s a slight increase in the screen resolution. The Huawei Enjoy tablet featured a 10.1-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

It is also revealed that the device will be powered by the company’s own Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 710A chipset. This is the same chipset that powers the recently launched Honor Tab 6 and Tab X6. This is an upgrade compared to the Kirin 659 chipset on its predecessor.

As for the camera department, the tablet could feature a 5-megapixel camera sensor on the back and a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. It is reportedly powered by a 5,100mAh battery with 10W charging support — same as the original Enjoy tablet.

For those who are unaware, Kirin 710A is the first chipset from Huawei which is being mass-produced locally by SMIC in China. The chipset is almost similar to the Kirin 710 but is manufactured using the 14nm FinFET process instead of 12nm node.

While the company has not yet revealed the official launch date for the Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2, we expect the launch to take place pretty soon, in the coming weeks, given that the specs have already surfaced online.
