Redmi became an independent brand in early 2019. Since then, the brand ventured into various product categories apart from smartphones. It launched its first smart TV in H2 last year and currently has 6 models on sale ranging from 999 yuan ($144) to 19,999 yuan ($2,881).

Due to competitive pricing and feature-rich products, Redmi managed to enter the top 10 TV brands (online) list in China within one year from entering the segment. That’s a great achievement for a new player but it all happened due to backing from its parent company Xiaomi.

On June 25, the brand even likely broke the 100-inch TV segment sales record with its Redmi Smart TV MAX 98. The brand managed to sell over 1,500 units of this TV model in 10 hours, 32 minutes and 18 seconds across all channels.

Having said that, here’s the complete list of top 10 TV brands (online) in China in 31st week of 2020 by Aowei Cloud Network.
