The smartphone features several new advancements over its predecessor including the presence of new chipset, better display, improved cooling system, and much more. Asus Rog Phone 3 comes powered with 5G compatible Snapdragon 865+ SoC which coupled an octa-core processor having a clocking speed of 3.1GHz and supercharged Adreno 650 GPU. Both the GPU and overclocked CPU offers a considerable 10% improvement in the performance. To facilitate the multitasking, the smartphone offers LPDDR5 RAM up to 16GB.

A 6000 mAh battery is present to keep the smartphone running for longer times. To further improve the battery lifespan, there is custom battery mode support. There’s also a GameFC audio system for better audio quality including Dirac sound optimization features, and calibrated game mode. It supports Qualcomm aptX Adaptive sound. The AirTrigger 3 controls making gaming intuitive. It also features Accelerometer powered motion sensor and ultrasonic touch sensors for better interaction.
Asus Rog Phone 3 packs a triple-camera sensor module on the rear featuring a Sony UMX686 64MP camera, a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a macro camera. There’s a 24-megapixel front camera on the front for quality selfies and live-streaming videos.
