This year has to a large extent been defined by the COVID 19 pandemic which has affected almost all countries except a few. In the wake of the pandemic, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 was cancelled at the last minute. As restrictions get eased, there are indications that the IFA Berlin 2020 will be a physical event. Honor

Huawei’s Honor brand has now announced an event for IFA 2020 which is scheduled to take place from September 3 to September 5. This is billed to be a physical event. The teaser poster for the conference shows the theme of the presentation will be “Expand Your Smart Life”. The products that are expected to be released include a smartphone, laptop, router, smartwatch, and tablets.

Apart from Honor, other companies expected to take part in this year’s IFA Berlin trade show includes Realme, LG, TCL, and Huawei. It is unlikely that the show will be as elaborate as it used to be considering the health situation and the travel restrictions. Most companies are likely to stick to local announcements instead of global unveilings. The opening keynote will be hosted by Qualcomm where we might hear more on the chip company’s roadmap for Q4.
