Back in May, OnePlus and Epic Games announced that users will be OnePlus 8 users will be able to play Fortnite at 90 FPS, a first for any smartphone. Today, OnePlus has announced that 90 FPS on the popular game, PUBG, will be available exclusively on its devices.
A press release sent to us says the feature will be available to owners of the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T series, and OnePlus 8 series which all have a refresh rate of 90Hz and up. They will be able to experience PUBG exclusively at this new rate starting today, August 6, until September 6. Surprisingly, the OnePlus Nord which also has a 90Hz refresh rate is missing from the list.
OnePlus says the exclusive experience is available to users across the globe excluding those in Mainland China, Japan, and Korea.
Playing at 90 FPS is said to be evident while panning, using a scope, running, and searching for other players at a distance. this means you should get an edge over other gamers playing at a lower frame rate.
