OnePlus has been gradually revealing the key specifications and features of the OnePlus Ace 7 series ahead of its China launch. In its latest announcement, the brand has confirmed the camera specifications of the Ace 7 Pro. It has also shared camera samples showcasing the phone’s photography capabilities.

OnePlus Ace 7 Pro camera samples and specifications

According to the brand, the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro will feature a 200-megapixel main camera alongside a 3.5x periscope telephoto camera. According to the company, the high-resolution primary sensor captures fine details, including when images are zoomed in, while the periscope camera is designed to improve long-range photography.

The official periscope zoom camera samples include mountain landscapes, snow-covered peaks and portraits. The landscape images highlight distant scenery and fine textures, while the portrait samples demonstrate natural-looking skin tones and the handling of light and shadows. These examples suggest that OnePlus is placing greater emphasis on imaging alongside the series’ performance-focused hardware.

According to reports, the standard OnePlus Ace 7 will share several specifications with the Pro model but could differ in two key areas. The Pro is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the standard version may feature its V-series variant. The regular Ace 7 is also expected to miss out on the periscope camera.

Both phones are tipped to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 185Hz and a 9,000mAh battery with 100W charging. Both models will ship with ColorOS 17-based Android 17 preinstalled. OnePlus will launch the Ace 7 series in China on Oct. 29 at 7 PM local time.
