Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Mijia Multi-Head Fascia Gun 3C in China, featuring 16 fixed massage heads that work simultaneously. Unlike conventional massage guns with one interchangeable head, the new model uses soft, elastic EVA heads to cover a larger area at once.
It follows the Mijia Multi-Head Massage Gun 3, which Xiaomi introduced with three interchangeable heads of different shapes. Meanwhile, the new 3C uses 16 spherical heads in a fixed arrangement rather than letting users swap them out.
What 16 massage heads offer
Xiaomi claims the 16 heads provide a theoretical relaxation area of 14,070 mm², based on a press depth of 4mm and a strike depth of 4mm. The actual area covered will depend on how much pressure is applied. According to the company, the design can be up to 16 times more efficient than its older single-head massage guns, although this comparison is based on Xiaomi’s own models.
The device is intended for areas such as the lower back, hips and legs. It also doesn’t need to be held throughout a massage. Users can lay it flat and rest a leg on it or lean their back against it while sitting on a sofa or chair. The handle also allows users to move it across their back and shoulders, while someone else can operate it for a more targeted massage.
Power and massage modes
The Mijia Multi-Head Fascia Gun 3C delivers up to 25kg of thrust. It comes with two operating modes, each offering three speed levels.
Fixed-frequency mode runs at 1,400, 2,000, or 2,500 rpm, while variable-frequency mode provides three ranges: 1,400–1,900 rpm, 1,700–2,200 rpm, and 2,000–2,500 rpm. Xiaomi lists a speed tolerance of ±8%.
Fixed-frequency mode maintains a steady rhythm for post-workout use, while variable-frequency mode alternates between lighter and stronger strikes for everyday massages.
The massage gun has a built-in 1,900mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims provides up to 12 days of battery life with 10 minutes of use per day. The estimate is based on approximately 120 minutes of runtime at the first speed level, with a 3kg load and a test temperature of 25°C. The device charges through a USB Type-C port.
It also has a memory function that restores the last-used mode and speed level when switched back on.
Price and Availability
The Mijia Multi-Head Fascia Gun 3C is available for pre-order in China, with no announcement yet regarding availability in other markets. It has a suggested retail price of 299 yuan (around $42).
