Recent reports have revealed that last year’s Samsung Galaxy M40 will be replaced by Galaxy M51. The handset is expected to go official in September. A new report by Pricebaba has revealed the different variants of the upcoming M-series Samsung smartphone along with its camera details.

Citing tipster Ishan Agarwal as the source, the publication reported that the Galaxy M51 will be arriving in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM editions. Both models are expected to come with 128 GB of internal storage. The tipster did not reveal the name of the chipset that will be fueling the device. Past reports have claimed that it could be driven by the Snapdragon 730 SoC.

The publication further stated that the backside of the phone device will have a quad camera setup. It will be pioneered by a 64-megapixel main camera. An ultrawide 12-megapixel lens, a portrait camera of 5-megapixel, and a macro lens of 5-megapixel are also included in the camera setup. For shooting selfies, the smartphone will be flaunting a 32-megapixel front camera.

Past reports have revealed that the Galaxy M51 will be fitted with a 6.5-inch or 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display that delivers Full HD+ resolution. The display is expected to offer a punch-hole design.

The One UI 2.1 based Android 10 OS will come preloaded on the smartphone. One of the major attractions of the phone will be that it will be housing a 7,000mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to support 25W fast charging.

While the official support page of the phone has gone live in Russia, Samsung is yet to confirm on the arrival of the Galaxy M51. Considering that the highest variant of the Galaxy M31s is priced at Rs 21,499 (~$287) in India, it is likely that the Galaxy M51 could be costing around Rs 25,000 (~$333).
