The POCO X3 is an upcoming smartphone from the latest Xiaomi sub-brand. The phone will be its first smartphone this year which is not a rebadge of a Redmi phone.

The POCO X3 will have four rear cameras arranged together in a quite unusual camera housing. The global spokesman for the brand, Angus Kai Ho Ng, has shared sample photos taken by the phone and also confirmed in the tweet that the POCO X3 has a 64MP sensor.

According to him, the two photos were taken by the phone, yes, including the one that shows someone holding the POCO X3 itself.

Other than showing off what the phone is capable of with respect to camera performance, the first image also confirms the POCO X3 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. If you zoom in to the side of the phone, you can see the indentation on the side where the power button will usually be.

A leak from yesterday revealed the device has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch response rate. Seeing as it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, it is most likely an LCD panel. The leak also revealed the display has a centered punch hole.

It has also been reported that the POCO X3 will have a 20MP selfie camera, a 5160mAh battery, support for 33W fast charging, and will be powered by a yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 732 processor. The device is also expected to be announced on September 8.
