Oneplus is one of the few OEMs part of Android 11 Beta program. The Beta 3 update for the company’s OnePlus 8/8 Pro introduced the revamped OxygneOS 11, which happens to be heavily inspired by Samsung’s One UI. Now, after three weeks of its release, the brand seeds out Android 11 Beta 4 (aka Developer Preview 4) for these devices.

Oneplus 8 Pro All Colors Featured

Unlike the previous three releases, OnePlus is yet to share an announcement post with download links for the build on its Community. We think it may happen in the next few hours but users who are already on the last build have already started receiving the new build via OTA.

The changelog for the same has been shared by a user on OnePlus Community (via PiunikaWeb). According to which, the update brings a ton of fixes and new features for Game Space.

    • Optimized display effects with some UI
    • Optimized the lagging issue under some settings
    • Optimized the stability with the upload of log in Community
    • Optimized delayed response issue with pull-down of the status bar
    • Fixed the crash/reboot issue under some settings
    • Fixed the all black issue with status bar in dark mode
    • Fixed the bug that system cannot be re-started after OTA upgrade
    • Fixed the disabled “save” feature of screenshot
  • Game Space
    • Newly added gaming tools box for convenient switches of Fnatic mode, WeChat, QQ and Screen Recorder at one place (enable it by swiping down from upper right/left corners of the screen in gaming mode)
    • Newly added mis-touch prevention feature. Enable it, swipe down from the top of the screen, click and the notification bar will pop out
  • Gallery
    • Fixed the abnormal increase of brightness when entering the Gallery
    • Fixed the incomplete screenshot issue in some cases
  • Shelf
    • Fixed the issue that background of weather did not display
  • Network
    • Improved the performance and stability of network transfers

It was thought that DP3 was the last update in the Android 11 Beta update series for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. But now as DP4 is out, the Open Beta releases based on Android 11 may be delayed, which in turn may further delay the stable release.
