The new Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is apparently equipped with a 3,687mAh, which is about 7 percent smaller in capacity when compared to the previous year’s iPhone 11 Pro Max.
According to a MacRumors report, a regulatory filing published by TENAA that listed the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 3,687mAh battery capacity which is smaller than the 3,969mAh battery found in the iPhone 11 Pro Max. This listing also found that the highest end variant of the latest flagship from Apple features 6GB of RAM. For those unaware, Apple generally refrains from divulging information regarding its RAM and battery capacity in its products.

The Cupertino based giant has filed many products with TENAA over the years, and these have generally been known to be fairly accurate. Despite having a marginally smaller battery, Apple’s official claims have the iPhone 12 Pro Max have a similar battery life to the iPhone 11 Pro Max, with both smartphones offering up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 80 hours of audio playback. Although, the newer A14 chipset might be a factor in this regard.
