Xiaomi has been consistent with the release of new products under its crowdfunding platform. Another consistency is that all the products we have come across over the years keeps up with the brands quality standard while being pocket friendly. The Youpin platform has now played host to the KRIBEE Multi-functional Fast Steamer 5S which is under crowdfunding for just 399 yuan (~$59). The product will adopt a retail price of 699 yuan (~$104) after the crowdfunding exercise. 
The KRIBEE Multi-functional Fast Steamer 5S comes with a power rating of 2000W and utilises dual system heating. One of the systems is a 1200W surface heating technology for uniform heating, while there is also an 800W independent steam system, which can quickly produce steam in 5 seconds.
At the same time, thanks to the double-layer heating, the efficiency is 60% higher than that of the single-layer U-shaped heating tube, which can make the steam erupt quickly and heat the food evenly.
The KRIBEE Multi-functional Fast Steamer 5S is equipped with a 750ml hidden independent water tank which can meet the continuous steam output for 60 minutes. This design makes it unnecessary to add water in the middle of cooking “big” and difficult-to-cook ingredients. It uses a 120 ℃ super fast steaming.
The steamer supports multiple functions in one pot. It can easily handle a variety of cuisines, such as hot pot, fried steak, seafood porridge, pancakes, etc.
In terms of safety, it supports a multi-position timing operation. For instance, if there is no water in the water tank, the power will be automatically cut off.
The product is expected to start shipping from December 7, 2020.
