There have been reports that the Galaxy S21 series will be arriving earlier than the Galaxy S20 did. If you are wondering how early it is, a new leak has revealed the dates the phones will be announced as well as pre-order and launch dates.

The source of the leak is Jon Prosser, and in a tweet posted just a short while ago, he has confirmed the names of Samsung’s next Galaxy S flagships, revealed their announcement, pre-order, and launch dates, as well as the colors they will be available in.

The next Galaxy S series will arrive as the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. This naming makes sense as it goes with the year the phone will be launched. So if you are among the few that want the phones to launch as the Galaxy S30 series, you will have to wait until the year 2030.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will hold on January 14, 2021, according to the leaker while pre-order will begin the same day. Roughly two weeks later, on January 29 to be precise, the Galaxy S21 series will go on sale.

The leaker also revealed that the phones will come in Black, White, Grey, Silver, Violet, and Pink. It appears Samsung has dropped blue and red colorways but we won’t be surprised if more colors are announced later in the year or for select regions. It is important to state that there is no assurance that all three phones will come in all of the aforementioned colors. A leak from a few days ago already revealed the colors each Galaxy S21 phone will be available in.

With respect to specs, all three phones will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 875 processor/Exynos 2100 depending on the market and Infinity-O displays with centered punch holes. The Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will have three rear cameras while the Ultra model will have four rear cameras.
