Earlier this year, Vivo had launched a new smartphone under its S-series of selfie-centric devices — Vivo S7. Today, the company has announced a new variant of the same, dubbed as Vivo S7e which is now listed for pre-order in China.

The smartphone features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and a 90.1 percent STB ratio. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC that supports 5G connectivity.

It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. In terms of memory configuration, it comes packed with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity.

As for the camera department, the phone features a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front side, there’s a 32-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

The device is running the Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own FunTouch OS 10.5 on top and Multi-Turbo 3.0 for advanced features. It is powered by a 4,100mAh battery that comes with support for 33W fast charging technology.

The Vivo S7e smartphone is being offered in three color options — Phantom  Blue, Mirror Black, and Silver Moon. The phone is currently up for pre-order in China but the company has not yet revealed its pricing details.
