Redmi K30 Pro smartphone, the flagship smartphone from Xiaomi-backed Redmi, was launched earlier this year. Now, ahead of the launch of its successor, the phone is being discontinued by the company.
Lu Weibing, General Manager of the Redmi brand and President of Xiaomi China has confirmed that the Redmi K30 Pro is getting discontinued.
The development comes just days after we reported that the company is discontinuing its Mi 10 Pro flagship smartphone and the Mi 10 Ultra, which was launched a few months back, is also getting out of stock.
The Redmi K30 Pro features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display that offers a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. Internally, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.

It packs up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB internal storage, without a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity. As for the camera department, there’s a quad-camera setup on the phone’s back.
There’s a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera, a 5-megapixel telephoto macro lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, the phone features a 20-megapixel pop-up snapper.
The smartphone runs the Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box along with the company’s MIUI custom user interface. It is powered by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging technology.
