OPPO is reportedly gearing up to launch the Reno5 series of smartphones in China. It is believed that the OPPO PEGM00 / PEGT00 phone that was recently approved by China’s TENAA authority could be the Reno5. The PDSM00 phone that appeared on Geekbench could be the Reno5 Pro for China. In some markets outside of China, it may sell the 4G version of the Reno5 series. Today, an OPPO phone with a CPH2159 model number appeared in the database of Thailand’s regulatory body. The listing has revealed that the phone will be arriving in the country as the OPPO Reno5.

The NBTC listing shows that the device only supports LTE connectivity. Hence, the CPH2159 model number belongs to the OPPO Reno5 4G smartphone. The CPH2159 model number has been previously seen at certification platforms like EEC of Europe and Indonesia’s TKDN authority. It has also surfaced in the import/export database of Pakistan. None of the listings have revealed the specifications of the Reno5 4G.
