Redmi’s upcoming Redmi Note 9 5G series of smartphones have received approval from the TENAA authority in China. It appears that the company is now gearing up to announce the Redmi Note 9 5G series in the home market. A new leak claims that the Redmi Note 9 5G series will break cover next week.

According to the tipster (via), Redmi is likely to reveal the launch date for the Redmi Note 9 5G series either today or tomorrow. He added that smartphones will be launching next Tuesday. Since the launch date is expected to be confirmed by tomorrow, it appears that the unveiling event may take place on Nov. 24.

A recent leak had claimed that the Dimensity 800U powered Redmi Note 9 5G will be priced at 999 Yuan (~$152). On the other side, the Snapdragon 750G powered Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G may start at 1,499 Yuan (~$228).

The series reportedly includes a 4G variant. It is equipped with specs like 6.53-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display, Snapdragon 662 chipset, 48-megapixel triple shooters, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 6,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge support. There is no word on its pricing.
