According to a post on Weibo(via Twitter), the Standard variant of the Redmi Note 9 5G will cost about 1000 yuan($151). And a higher version with a 108MP camera sensor will be around 1500 yuan($227). This pricing corroborates with an internal document leak that earlier said that Xiaomi will launch a 999 yuan 5G device towards the end of 2020.

Anyway, the report says the entire Note 9 series will support 5G connectivity which is obvious by now. Coincidentally, Redmi’s GM Lu Weibing has already teased its arrival. So, if the report is true, we might see the devices hitting the shelves as early as mid-November.

Besides, the Redmi Note 9 Series is expected to get a Standard, and a High Edition. That said, Xiaomi might just call it the Redmi Note 9, and Note 9 Pro 5G but we will have to wait for the confirmation. Anyway, the TENAA listings of the Redmi Note 9 series reveals key specifications of the device. Both the devices share similar features like a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, micro-SD card, and will likely run MIUI 12 based on Android 10.
