Last week, OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 4 for the OnePlus 8 series. The latest public beta release bumped up the security patch level to November 2020 and brought a host of fixes and optimizations. Now, the company has started seeding a new stable update to these devices with build number OxygenOS 11.0.2.2.

OnePlus has been updating the software on its portfolio of smartphones with November 2020 security patch for the past few days. The OnePlus 8  and the OnePlus 8 Pro are the latest phones to get it.

The new stable release comes with the following build numbers in different regions.

  • OnePlus 8

    • IN: 11.0.2.2.IN21DA
    • EU: 11.0.2.2.IN21BA
    • NA: 11.0.2.2.IN21AA
  • OnePlus 8 Pro

    • IN: 11.0.2.2.IN11DA
    • EU: 11.0.2.2.IN11BA
    • NA: 11.0.2.2.IN11AA

 

The update brings fixes for the expanded screenshot feature, app cache deletion, screen flash while using the fingerprint sensor, horizon light function, NFC, parallel apps, Warp Charge 30 Wireless, an issue with app installation from the Google Play store, and network interruption.

It also optimizes experience with split-screen apps, system power consumption, and battery life. Additionally, the new build also improves the stability of communication functions.

Having said that, the latest stable update for the OnePlus 8 series is currently being rolled out in batches, and therefore, it may take time to reach your device.
