Recent reports have revealed that the launch date of the Galaxy M02 could be nearing as its SM-M025F/SD model number has surfaced at various places like Wi-Fi Alliance, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), NEMKO AD, and Geekbench. It appears that the handset could be launching soon as its support page has gone live on Samsung India’s website.

The support page listing has only the SM-M025F/DS model number mentioned on it and it has no information on its specs. In December 2019, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A01 smartphone and in June came the Galaxy M01. The only major difference between the two handsets was that the M01 featured a larger battery.

Speculations are rife that the recently unannounced Galaxy A02 phone could be coming to some markets as Galaxy M02. At present, there is no information on the differences between the Galaxy A02 and Galaxy M02. On Geekbench, the Galaxy M02 was spotted with a Snapdragon 450 chipset and 3 GB of RAM.

In related news, Samsung has recently announced the Galaxy A02s has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. It is powered by an unknown 1.8GHz octa-core processor. The device has arrived with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It has a dedicated microSD card slot for more storage.
