LG unveiled the K42 and K52 smartphones in the Dominican Republic and other countries back in September. Now, it looks the company will bring the budget devices to India as they have reportedly cleared India’s BIS certification.

LG K42 K52 India

As noted by tipster Mukul Sharma, two LG devices with model numbers appear on the BIS database. They are LM-K420YMW, LM-K520YMW and are listed under LG. On screening the model numbers through FCC(1,2), and Bluetooth SIG(1,2), we found that the numbers indeed belong to an LG smartphone. And these have later turned out to be a variant of LG K42 and LG K52 respectively.

Besides, the BIS listing doesn’t give any other info but suggests that the device could debut soon in India. However, thanks to the earlier launch in the Dominican Republic, Europe, Central, and South American countries we know the specifications.
